DOUGLAS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Oct. 11 and Oct. 12, visitors to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas can explore the annual Art Coast of Michigan Fall Gallery Stroll, a free event with over 20 participating venues.

"Each gallery is going to have their own unique flavor," Juli Petter, owner of J. Petter Galleries, said.

Saugatuck and Douglas' Fall Gallery Stroll first began in 1976 with only a handful of locations under the direction of Joyce Petter, the event founder and prior owner of J.
