HOUSTON – Fall festival season in Houston is here, which means it’s time to celebrate all things Greek at the 59th annual Original Greek Festival happening this weekend!
It’s the largest of its kind in the nation, featuring homemade Greek food, traditional Greek dancing, wine, shopping, art (check out local artist jonizavitsanos.com ) and an opportunity to learn more about the Greek Orthodox culture and faith.
Over the festival’s three-days, more than 35,000 Houstonians are expected to attend the event held at the annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral complex at 3511 Yoakum Blvd. in Montrose, near the Museum District.
The festival truly is fun for the whole fam, including a newly added petting zoo in the kids area this year!
