On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the USDA released the Quarterly Grains Stocks report. It also detailed the final 2024 U.S. corn and soybean production, where very few changes were expected. If you are looking for the WASDE Report (supply and demand report), you will have to wait until October 9 for its release.
According to the report, U.S. grains stocks as of Sept. 1, 2025 are: • Corn stocks were 1.53 billion bushels. The average estimate was 1.337 billion bushels, and corn stocks last year were 1.763 billion bushels. • Soybean stocks were 316 million bushels. The average trade estimate was 323 million bushels, compared to 342 million bushels last year. • All wheat stocks were 2.12 billion bushels.
