CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A viral TikTok video appears to show Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arresting a 12-year-old boy for allegedly recklessly riding a bicycle.
The social media video has been viewed more than 50,000 times, as of the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 30. Some TikTok users appeared to express outrage over the child’s arrest.
In the pair of videos posted online by a bystander, the 12-year-old boy can be seen sitting on a South End sidewalk handcuffed, before the next video shows him inside the police cruiser, also with his hands behind his back.
