CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) - Virtually nothing went right for Illinois in its trip to Bloomington, Indiana.
The Illini lost by 53 and outside of a sack from Leon Lowery and a long touchdown pass to Collin Dixon, both in the first quarter, there was hardly anything to cheer about for Illini fans.
After a loss of that variety, questions circulated all over about this Illinois team and its abilities. Few groups, if any, caught more heat from fans and analysts than the offensive line. Illinois ran for just two yards in the loss, while quarterback Luke Altmyer was sacked seven times.
"I thought our D-line could whip their offensive line and we did," Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti said after the game.
The Illini O-line badly needed a get-right game, and it came in the form of a 34-32 win again
