CANTON, Mass. —
The Hanscom Federal Credit Union Charitable Foundation honored Martin J. Walsh at its annual Honorary Awards Dinner on Monday night.
Walsh, former Boston Mayor and U.S. Secretary of Labor, was presented the General Enoch “Woody” Woodhouse II Leadership Award, which is presented to individuals who demonstrate leadership and service to veterans.
The award is named after one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen.
“This event is about honoring those who serve—not just on the battlefield, but in boardrooms, in city halls, and in communities across the country,” said Peter Rice, President & CEO of Hanscom Federal Credit Union.
