PRYOR, Okla. (KFOR) — A Tulsa County jury has convicted a Pryor couple of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars in charitable funds from a non-profit addiction recovery program they had operated for six years.
According to the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, Jordan and Vanessa Parker have been convicted of two counts of embezzlement and one count of pattern of criminal offenses after embezzling funds from their own non-profit program, Reckless Saints of Nowhere, from 2017 to 2023.
Court documents say that Jordan and Vanessa used two donations from a Tulsa business that were received between April and June of 2021, totaling $600,000, which were intended for sober living services for recovering addicts.
