COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The popular family-owned restaurant Señor Manuel Mexican Cuisine announced on Tuesday that it would not be reopening.
The Hernandez family said in a Facebook post that the restaurant would not be able to reopen due to unforeseen complications and developments.
The family said that they tried their best for a different outcome, but the complications did not allow them to finish the work they had already done to rebuild.
The restaurant, located at North Nevada and Austin Bluffs, closed after a multi-alarm fire damaged the building on July 21, 2024. The Colorado Springs Fire Department said more than 65 firefighters responded to the restaurant, and the fire was under control after approximately 45 minutes.
