On Wednesday at 12:48 a.m. an updated freeze warning was released by the National Weather Service valid for Thursday between midnight and 8 a.m. for Oneida County.
The weather service states to anticipate, "Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to low 30s. This will result in freezing conditions, especially across sheltered valleys."
"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," says the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
