(KFVS) - October is starting off very warm and dry.
The Heartland is about 10 degrees above average for this time of year, thanks to a high pressure continuing to hang on.
Afternoon highs will be in the mid-to-upper 80s today and through Sunday.
A few more clouds are possible this afternoon, but overall, sunshine looks to stay a dominant feature and through the end of the week.
This pattern could stick around through at least the middle of next week before there is a change, but isolated rain chances could arrive on Monday and Tuesday.
