WEST LIBERTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky State Police are investigating an inmate's death after he was found unresponsive in his cell.
According to a news release, state police in Morehead were contacted by the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex on Tuesday around 2:30 to conduct a death investigation.
Coorectional officers reportedly found 27-year-old Ryan Rayburn, of Ashcamp, unresponsive in his cell.
Police said lifesaving measures were given to Rayburn, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the Morgan County ARH Hospital.
Police said foul play is suspected, and a fellow inmate at the facility is being investigated.
The investigation is ongoing.
