ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – Police identified a Hamilton-area man as the victim of a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Austin Kasinger, 22, died in the crash.

The other driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

The crash was reported at 6:56 a.m. at 46th Street and 140th Avenue in Allegan County’s Overisel Township, sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies said Kasinger was driving south on 46th Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign at 140th Avenue and his car was struck by a westbound SUV. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
