BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - Two Bellevue families are desperate for answers after losing their beloved cats.

“It truly feels like our family is incomplete without him,” said cat owner Kyndra Smith.

Lynne Reed’s granddaughter owned a one-year-old outdoor cat named Honeydoo.

“She was just an amazing cat and we miss her dearly,” Reed said.

Reed explained Honeydoo had a routine.

“She would come home every night, eat dinner and get food, then we would lock her up at night.” But last week, Honeydoo never came home.

Using an AirTag collar, the family tried searching.

“Normally she would come running once we called for her. She would come running,” Reed said.

Later that day, Reed’s husband tracked the AirTag to the Nebraska Humane Society.
