As part of an effort to address domestic violence, Southfield officials are hosting the 2025 Walk to Raise Awareness of Domestic Violence this Sunday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m..
The walk route stretches for approximately two miles, beginning and ending on the front lawn of the Southfield Municipal Campus, 26000 Evergreen Rd. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a free T-shirt. Due to limited supplies, T-shirts will be available to non-registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pre-register at www.walktoraiseawarenessofdv.qmigroupinc.com . On the day of the event, registration and T-shirt pickup starts at 9 a.m. on the front lawn of the Southfield city hall. The event is free and open to the public.
