Easton Area High School nurse Kelly Keegan has faced significant backlash after allegedly celebrating the death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk on social media.
That backlash continued Tuesday night at the district’s school board meeting as they approved a planned salary raise for Keegan and other employees.
The school board did not speak about Keegan’s employment status at Tuesday’s meeting, saying it was a personnel matter, but some of the 75 residents that filled the Easton Area Middle School auditorium did. Meetings are typically held in the Easton Area School District Education Center, but this meeting was moved to the larger venue.
