IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG/ESPN) - The Iowa women’s basketball team has picked up a big time commitment.

McKenna Woliczko announced her commitment to the Hawkeyes Wednesday in a post on Instagram.

According to ESPN , Woliczko is the No. 6 player in the girls’ SportsCenter NEXT 100 class. ESPN reports the forward from Archbishop Mitty High School in California iscoach Jan Jensen’s highest-rated recruit in the post-Caitlin Clark era and has drawn some initial comparisons to the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer because of her star potential on and off the court.
