GRAND FORKS – The local Meals on Wheels program run by the Grand Forks Senior Center is in “urgent” need of more volunteers to address its growing enrollment, according to a press release from the group on Wednesday.

Meals on Wheels provides nutritious, hot meals Monday through Friday to homebound older adults throughout the Grand Forks area, with the program currently running 12 delivery routes and providing 160 meals per day.

Grand Forks Senior Center said it's looking for additional delivery drivers to help service its Meals on Wheels clients, either as recurring volunteers or as substitutes that can be called upon as needed.
