Nestled in a pocket of downtown Sylvania, Jessica Klimesh finishes her drawing lesson with Dani Fuller, owner of Fuller Art House.

In addition the local and regional artwork for sale on the gallery’s walls, Fuller teaches private, coaching, and one-on-one classes to students of all ages.

“Art is a cornerstone of humanity,” Klimesh said. “Art helps people become better critical thinkers. It helps them with empathy and it helps them really open their eyes to looking behind what something is.”

As Fuller rearranges the airy gallery space for Fuller Art House’s upcoming live art competition, Klimesh finishes up her sketch of a paint jug and various other art supplies.
