Tickets are on sale for the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra's Bachtoberfest concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 on the grounds of the Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd.

This family-friendly, outdoor concert, conducted by David Torns, will provide an intimate and relaxed setting to enjoy classical music.

Food will be available for purchase. Concertgoers can bring their own beverages. Seating is first-come-first serve, and concertgoers also can pack their own picnic.

Featured soloists will be violinist and Baton Rouge Symphony Concertmaster Borislava Iltcheva and soprano Cara Waring.

The program will include selections by George Frideric Handel, Thomas Albinoni, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzola.
