A portion of Highway 111 northbound is down to one lane Wednesday afternoon, according to the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office.

A semitruck overturned on the highway near East Valley Road at around noon.

The sheriff's office said one lane will be closed for some time, while crews clear the scene.

Authorities urge the public to drive with caution in this area.
