PHOENIX — An investigation into a possible road rage incident on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix is underway, authorities said Wednesday morning.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed it was investigating an incident near 43rd Avenue but declined to provide additional information.

Arizona Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed law enforcement vehicles on the westbound shoulder in the area and slowdowns in both directions of I-10.

No other details were immediately available.
