FARMINGTON, Conn. (WFSB) - Farmington police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.

The crash occurred on Plainville Avenue in the area of Depot Place at around 1 p.m.

Police say a white box truck hit a 76-year-old man from Rocky Hill before fleeing the scene.

The man was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The box truck fled, heading southbound on Plainville Avenue towards Scott Swamp Road.
