PAGELAND, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Seven juveniles, ranging from the ages of 13 to 16 years old, were taken back to jail after a Chesterfield County judge denied them bond Wednesday morning.
Five of the teens are facing charges ranging from murder and assault and battery to possession of a weapon by a person under 18 in the death of 9-year-old Brody Langley.
Brody was shot in the head early morning on September 28, when a fight broke out at the Blue Sky Mart in Pageland, officials say.
On Tuesday, the four adults charged in this case were also denied bond. The two parents, Raven Deese and James Langley, are charged with homicide by child abuse, while 17-year-old Bryson Deese and 28-year-old James Jordan are both charged with murder.
