The parents of a university student from Yorkshire who tragically died after taking MDMA have issued a heartfelt warning to students to 'think twice before taking illegal drugs'.

Nathan Pavlovic was just 21 when he became unwell after taking the Class A drug in October, 2020.

The youngster had just begun his third year of a forensic computing degree at Northumbria University when, one night, he decided to have some drinks with friends at his campus accommodation.

Nathan decided to try MDMA that night for what would be his "first, and last, time".

The MDMA was supplied to Nathan by 25-year-old George Harle.

Another woman who partook in the consumption of the illegal substance said it made her paranoid and physically sick.
