BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — On Oct. 24, golfers can play a round to help Blount County kids who’ve experienced abuse by joining the "Tee up for Hope" tournament at Egwani Farm Golf Course in Rockford.

All proceeds from a golf scramble will go to New Hope Children's Advocacy Center , with the money raised paying for interviews and therapy for the children. The entry fee will be $150 per golfer.

One in 10 children in Blount County is an abuse victim, according to the nonprofit. So far in 2025, the organization has served more than 400 kids.

The event will feature an afternoon session, with more than 200 attendees expected. Some spots are still open for the event. Those wishing to sign up can click this link.
