MAINE, USA — Fall is in full swing in northern Maine as the region reaches peak foliage, according to the latest report from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (DACF).

Since the last report , there has been a moderate to high color change, ranging from 50% to 70% throughout most of the state, with a moderate, less than 50% leaf drop.

Northern Maine is currently experiencing the most pronounced color change, ranging from 70% to 100%. In central Maine, the change in foliage is moderate to high. In southern Maine, the change in foliage appears moderate.
