LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas State Crime Lab ruled the deaths of a couple from Fordyce, Arkansas, in September as a murder-suicide.

According to the Arkansas State Police, medical examiners ruled that 70-year-old Holly Parham's death was the result of homicide, while 81-year-old David Parham's death was ruled a suicide.

At the request of the Dallas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO), the state police's Criminal Investigation Division started the investigation on September 15, 2025, after Holly and David Parham were found dead inside their home.

At 11 a.m. on September 15, DCSO deputies and officers with the Fordyce Police Department went to a home in the 1700 block of West 4th Street after reports of two unresponsive people being inside.
