VERMILLION, S.D. (KCAU) — This year's Dakota Days Celebration is currently underway, and there are many events taking place in Vermillion, South Dakota.

Some of those events include the 111th annual Dakota Days Parade on Saturday.

This year's parade marshal is former Coyotes head football coach Bob Nielson. He retired from his position back in January, with a 53-48 record with the Coyotes.

His career spanned 32 football seasons and six schools. The parade is set to begin at 9 a.m. on Main Street near Vermillio
