Authorities identified a Vancouver man as the pedestrian who was killed Sunday morning after running into traffic on Interstate 205 north of 119th Street in Clark County.
Nolan German, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released German’s cause and manner of death.
According to a state patrol crash memo, Brenden Kealy, of Hoodsport was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado south on I-205, south of the Interstate 5 split, about 11:30 a.m. when German ran into the freeway from the right shoulder and was struck.
Neither Brenden Kealy, 56, nor his passenger, Mendy Kealy, 52, also of Hoodsport were injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
