SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport woman was shot multiple times while in a car just outside her place of employment.

Around 5 p.m. on Oct. 1, 2025, Shreveport police began responding to a shooting and medical emergency on Lilian and Missouri Ave.

There, police found a woman who had been shot multiple times in a car just outside the Shreveport Job Corp.

According to the Shreveport PD (SPD), the woman was confirmed to be an employee of the location.

Details from SPD reveal that the shooter emerged from the alley, shooting at the victim 4 to 5 times before making his escape.

The victim was hit once in the arm, twice in the chest and was transported to Ochsner's Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The shooter has not been located at this time.
