CLEVELAND — Drought has been an ongoing issue for the last couple of months across Northeast Ohio.

Thursday morning, the Drought Monitor was updated. With minimal rain for the last several days, it’s no surprise that most areas had no change.

There was actually a bit of improvement for some of our far southern counties, particularly Carroll County.

This update includes some of the rain we received last week. The data cutoff is Tuesday mornings at 8 a.m.

Monday was the rainiest day of last week, with more rain falling on Monday night. That rainfall was included in the update from last Thursday, which did show some improvement for areas south of Cleveland.
