MEMPHIS, Tenn. — U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi says that 40 arrests were made on Wednesday, Oct. 1, as part of the 'Memphis Safe Task Force.'
Bondi posted on the social media platform X , formerly Twitter, that in just 72 hours, the task force is making a major impact in the city.
This all comes after White House officials addressed Memphis Safe Task Force officials inside the Shelby County Operations Center on Wednesday afternoon, joined by Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee.
Bondi's post goes on to state that Wednesday's arrests included a Tren de Aragua terrorist, a felon in possession of a firearm, a man wanted for the rape of a child, and an individual arrested for assaulting a federal officer.
