SANDY HOOK, Ky. —
One of the men convicted in the murder of Crystal Rogers has been moved to a prison in eastern Kentucky.
Joseph Lawson was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence in July.
He was sentenced to 25 years in prison in September.
Lawson was moved to the Little Sandy Correctional Complex in Elliott County to serve out his sentence. Elliott County is more than two and a half hours away from Bardstown.
He filed an appeal last month to overturn his conviction.
The other two men convicted in the case, Brooks Houck and Steve Lawson, were sentenced to life in prison and 17 years, respectively.
Houck is still being held at the Oldham County jail, while Lawson remains behind bars in LaRue County.
