Superintendent of Schools Jennifer Chmiel says when she looks at the Manchester School District as a whole, she sees a district “moving forward with purpose, building momentum, and preparing every student for long-term success.”

“The work is progressing, the positive results are coming back — which means we must keep going on our current path,” Chmiel said. “There’s a lot at stake in our city. Our district is a key component in our community’s long-term health and viability. The role we play in our city’s future is an important one.”

Now in her fourth year running the state’s largest school district, Chmiel took the stage at French Hall on Thursday to provide an update on the “State of the Manchester School District.”
