INDIAN ORCHARD, Mass. (WWLP) - After years of revitalizing the former Pleasant Snack Bar Diner, it has become the home of a culinary competition, aiming to revive the local dining scene and support community chefs.
The 'Main Street Cook-Off' kicked off on Thursday in Indian Orchard, with a taste of Northern Soul Cafe. Over a dozen local chefs signed up.
Now, each Thursday at 4 p.m. for the next four weeks, four local chefs will compete, showcasing their unique culinary themes. The competition is inspired by popular talent shows like 'American Idol,' allowing the community to taste and rate the dishes.
