TOLLESON, AZ (AZFamily) — Amazon says they will resume drone delivery services Friday after two of its drones crashed into a crane Wednesday.
“We’ll resume drone delivery in Tolleson tomorrow while continuing to support ongoing reviews by relevant agencies,” a spokesperson for Amazon said on Thursday. “Safety is our top priority, and we’ve completed our own internal review of this incident and are confident that there wasn’t an issue with the drones or the technology that supports them.”
“The company is supporting the FAA on its work to develop better practices for their drone operations at construction sites that include cranes,” the company rep added.
The collisions happened within moments of each other just after 10 a.m. at a business park near 97th Avenue and Roosevelt Street , s
