Before this week, Teurlings Catholic girls volleyball coach Terry Hebert was concerned about his team’s offense as its journey back to the postseason had begun.

That changed October 1 when the Rebels came alive against Westminster Christian Academy-Opelousas, the LHSAA Division IV state runner ups. The Rebels and Crusaders went back and forth, with Teurlings winning the first and third sets while WCA took the second and fourth.

It came down to a decisive fifth set and, luckily for Teurlings, Ava Hebert continued her hot streak. After 26 kills in the match from the senior, the Rebels snagged a 3-2 victory and new-found momentum in their offense.
