One of the two Jewish men killed in the Crumpsall attack was believed to be fatally shot by an armed officer responding at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police has issued a statement this morning (October 3) after the two victims - 53-year-old Adrian Daulby and 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz , from Crumpsall - had Home Office post mortems.
Chief Constable Stephen Watson says one of the victims appears to have suffered a gunshot wound.
He confirmed Jihad Al-Shamie was not carrying a gun, and says the victim may have died in a 'tragic and unforeseen consequence of the urgently required action taken by' GMP at the scene.

He added another victim, who was in hospital, ha
