FLINT TWP, MI – Genesee County Road Commission officials will discuss plans for a roundabout at Elms and Beecher roads – an intersection with a history of crashes – during a meeting on Oct. 20.

The meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the township police department auditorium at 5200 Norko Drive.

Those who attend the informal open house will be able to review proposed maps, plans, costs, and study reports for the $1.6 million project, road commission officials said in a statement.

The Elms and Beecher intersection was one of 14 identified as prime candidates for roundabouts in a 2021 Genesee County Planning Commission report.
