Plea and sentencing: Man, 36, was charged with revolver, drugs stamped ‘paid in full’

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 36-year-old Clifton man arrested last year on charges of possessing a loaded gun and bagged narcotics has been sentenced to prison, while the man’s attorney pledges his client is “more than his mistakes.”

David Thompson, of Kimberly Lane, pleaded guilty recently in state Supreme Court, St. George, to attempted criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the June 20 arrest.
