It’s been a long time coming but the Highway 40 Antelope Creek to Roosevelt paving project is officially complete. Roosevelt City announced that crews finished the final work last Friday night, and all traffic restrictions have been lifted. The Utah Department of Transportation project resurfaced Highway 40 from the Antelope Creek Bridge to Pole Line Road in west Roosevelt. “The paving process increased the longevity of the road surface, improved skid resistance for vehicles, addressed roadway deterioration, and enhanced motorist safety by resmoothing the travel lanes. Additionally, crews upgraded various guardrails, refreshed lane painting/striping, and replaced roadside signage.” All lane width restrictions were lifted as of September 27th.
