It still amazes me how the Town Board spends our tax dollars, and not in a positive manner.

Last year, they went over the state limits and raised our taxes 5.58%. And what did they accomplish? They gave themselves a not so well-deserved pay raise. Much of the money was being used to start an ambulance program which has not come to fruition. Four ambulances are sitting and rusting with no signs the program will ever exist. They are building a splash pad that residents have to pay exorbitant fees to use.

Now the 2026 budget has a 2.23% tax increase. Again over the states 2% limit. Over the last two years, our taxes have gone up 7.91%. What can we do to stop this? Do not vote for the candidates running for re-election. It will be the beginning of serious change and financial stability.
