CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A State College man who was released from prison following a previous conviction for a 1980 murder is being taken into ICE custody.

According to a Press Secretary from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Subramanyam "Sub" Vedam will be released to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is due to an ICE detainer issued in 1988, according to Centre County Court documents obtained by the PA DOC.
