HINGHAM, Mass. —

A Massachusetts teen is accused of breaking into 60 unlocked cars in a South Shore town overnight.

At 12:48 a.m. Friday, Hingham police received a call from a resident on Pilgrim Road who said two men were breaking into cars in the driveway. Officers from Hingham and Norwell, including a K-9, responded, and a drone was deployed. Two suspects were spotted by the drone on a nearby street. One suspect fled, but a 17-year-old boy was arrested, police said.

All of the vehicles were unlocked. While some vehicles were rummaged through without anything taken, police said a laptop, house keys, car fob keys, coins and cash were stolen from others. An electric scooter was also taken from a driveway.
