BOSTON —

Berklee College of Music announced a recent reduction of its workforce in the face of financial woes.

A spokesperson for the school confirmed to NewsCenter 5 that 3% of its global employee base (70 staffers total) have been laid off.

"No faculty positions were impacted," the spokesperson said. "All programs and academic offerings are continuing as before."
