(WHTM) -- Midstate waterways are now home to hundreds of trout, ready to be caught.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has started its annual fall trout stocking.
The agency added 1,200 rainbow trout to Holman Lake at Little Buffalo State Park in Perry County.
The extended trout season is underway and runs through February.
Some Midstate waterways, though, are not yet cold enough to stock trout.
"With all of the warmer weather that we've had lately and with how dry its been, we've had to change some stockings due to the water not being completely suitable yet for us to stock the fish," Seth Strawser, waterways conservation officer, said.
