ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Alzheimer's Association is calling on the community to join the effort to combat Alzheimer's disease by participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's event on Saturday at Saint Mary's University. This significant event aims to raise $150,000 to fund dementia support programs and research.
Justin Novak, the Senior Walk Manager, reported that the event currently has about 350 registered participants, falling short of the 600-participant goal. Additionally, the fundraising total stands at just over $100,000, with a target of $150,000. Despite these challenges, there is still time for donations, Novak said.
