As state Sen. Kathleen Kauth discusses her wish for the removal of Elizabeth O'Connor from the Nebraska Board of Regents, KETV looked into the process of impeachment for a Regent.
O'Connor faces DUI charges for a crash in May, which prosecutors said injured the passenger of another vehicle. At Friday's Board of Regents meeting, multiple people spoke, asking O'Connor to step down from her position following the imminent trial, including the father of three children inside the other vehicle at the time of the crash.
