OMAHA, Neb. —

Fans of Taylor Swift gathered at the Target near 120th and L Street to celebrate the midnight release of her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," forming friendships and sharing their admiration for the artist.

"We had a line starting at 8 p.m. We start handing out tickets at 10 p.m., and we go live at midnight, and we're going to sell everything out," said store director Reann Hudson.

Swift fan Rebecca Walker shared her experience, saying, "It was fun, everyone's really nice and everybody was making friendship bracelets and talking and sharing Taylor Swift facts."
