Two men were charged after police say the driver of the car they were in led them on a chase that ended with a crash into a Kitchener home.
Waterloo Regional Police said the incident occurred on Thursday, at approximately 5:30 p.m., after officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Victoria Street South and Lawrence Avenue. Police said the driver continued on and fled at a high rate of speed.
The driver then lost control of the vehicle, police said, and crashed into home, causing significant structural damage.
The driver and passenger fled the scene on foot but were arrested a short time later.
